Remembering London

It's back to work, back to the old clothes and the chores. It's still dark all the time up here in Scotland - and when it's not dark, it's raining - so I've been going back through the 2007 archive and reworking some older images that maybe only got two stars the first time around.

I would have liked to have been a little higher in this shot, to get the person in the middle distance more separated from the steps. However, that would have required teetering on a wall 15 feet above the Thames, which I wasn't going to do.

In any case, what I like about this photo is the big foreground with the lines streaking across it. I was lucky to be able to recover enough detail in that area, although in the end it came out a little noisy for my absolute delight.
